A copper alloy coin dating from the Roman period: a Tetrarchian nummus (AE1) struck for Diocletian (AD 284-305) at Lugdunum (Lyons), second workshop, about AD 301-303, Reece period 15. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI reverse type depicting Genius, wearing modius, nude, chlamys draped over left shoulder, standing left, holding patera in right hand and cornucopiae in left hand, altar in left field. RIC VI, 113a, p. 250. The coin has a diameter of 26.7mm, a thickness of 2.2mm, and weighs 7.81g.
