Silver Scottish hammered penny of David II (1329-71 AD) or Robert II (1371-90 AD), the penny belongs to either the third 'light' coinage of David II (Spink S5130) dating 1367-71 or to the first period of Robert II's coinage (Spink S5145) dating to 1371-85/6, star on sceptre handle. Mint: Edinburgh. Ref: Spink 2015, pg 27-29.

Obverse description: Bust left, sceptre before face.

Reverse description: long cross, mullet of five points.

Reverse inscription: VILL/[...]h
