White metal ingot fragment. A triangular section sliver of metal which has solidified in the tilted corner of a small sub-rectangular or coffin-shaped vessel or mould; the corner of the vessel/mould base formed an obtuse angle preserved by this casting. Silvery and green tints are combined on its surface, the former appearing more prominent. Suggested date: Unknown, Late Bronze Age to Early Medieval, 1000BC-AD1000
