A worn and damaged Medieval Silver Venetian Soldino of Michele Steno, dated c. AD1400 - 1413. Obverse :shows Doge standing facing left holding Standard, Star in right field over "D". Obverse legend reads: MICHA[EL ST]EN DVX. Reverse shows: A winged and nimbate Lion of St Mark facing. Reverse legend reads: S M[ARCVS V]ENETI. Obverse surface visibly cracked from 11 o'clock to 3 o'clock.
