An incomplete medieval silver Scottish long cross penny of Alexander III (AD 1249-86)  second coinage, class Mb1 or Mb2 (Spink S5054) dating to c.1280-92 AD. Mullet of six points in each angle of reverse, total 24 points. Ref: Spink 2015, pg 19. 

Obverse: Bust left, sceptre before face; initial cross pattee, +AL[EXANDER DE]I GRA.

Reverse: Long cross, mullet of six points in each angle, total 24 points, [REX/]SCO/TOR[/VM+]
