An incomplete copper-alloy Roman hinged brooch. The wings are cylindrical and enclosed. The hinge mechanism in the centre is encrusted and imovable. The pin is bent upwards and over. Only about half of the bow remains. There is a circumferential ring around each end of the wings. Down the bow is a central vertical groove with a groove either side of this.
