Gold annular brooch. A tiny plain round-section frame of thickness 1.5mm with a cast collared pin set at a constriction – whether the frame or the pin was closed to achieve this is uncertain. The collar on the pin is finely textured, perhaps with vegetal ornament. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1350. In the light of its age and material, this object is to be subjected to the Treasure process, Ref. 2021 T517.
