A fragment of a gilded cast copper alloy mount of uncertain date. The front has two peripheral recessed fields decorated with parallel ridges and which retain traces of gilding. The rest of the palte comprises an undecorated T-shaped area of retained metal. The mount is broken evenly across its width. The reverse is flat with a single integrally cast fixing lug.
