Post Medieval tortoiseshell folding lorgnette with silver inlay. The lenses, some of the copper alloy rivets, the handle, and part of the frame are absent. The spectacles have oval frames with an arching bridge which is where it is hinged. Dates to between c1780 and c1940 AD, probably c1880 to c1914 AD.
