An incomplete Post-Medieval silver halfgroat of Edward VI (1547 - 1543), dating to AD April 1547 - January 1549. First Period (coinage in own name). Mint of Canterbury. The outer edge of the coin is missing between 10 - 2 o'clock on the obverse. The coin has also been bent in two places, forming an S shape.
