A complete silver Medieval coin; a continental sterling imitation penny of Robert of Bethune (AD 1305-1322) dating from about AD 1305-1322. Long cross reverse. Mint of Alost, Flanders. Diameter = 17.25mm, Thickness = 0.89mm and Weight = 1.17g. According to Withers (unpublished) this is Mayhew number 211 - 219.
