A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy buckle dating to AD 1650-1720. It consists of a ran oval plate with ten conjoined circular cells which likely held glass or enamel but are now void. The back is flat, plain and smooth. The central axis bar is now missing, now survived by a short stump on the frame.
The brooch is similar to an example in Whitehead 2003: no 282 dating to the late 17th century AD and similar to WMID-0E156C
