Iron Age strap union or mount. The strap union consists of three circular loops, with flat sections, joined at the central point into a triangle formation. At the central join (on both sides of the union) there is a triangular cell with what may be the remains of enamel contained in it. On each side of the triangle a copper alloy bar has been cast which spans the gap between each circle. The bars have small dumbbells at each end. One joint on the union is broken. The object weighs 13.74g and measures 34.62mm in diameter and 9.27mm in thickness.
