An incomplete cast copper alloy, post medieval saddle pommel, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. This object is one half (divided along the longitudinal median line) of a domed, hollow cylinder, terminating in a small knop at its apex which would probably have been soldered together with another. The pommel is decorated with incised, double stranded grooves which curve around the circumference from the apex to another pair of incised lines around the rim. This half of the pommel has a length of 50mm and a width of 30mm and weighs 18g.

This object is similar to other records on the database such as DENO-49FF4E, NMGW-6A437A, CORN-CB35AC and CORN-CB17F1.
