A complete copper-alloy toy in the form of a miniature cauldron of medieval to post-medieval date, about AD 1400 - 1600. The object is a miniature tripod cauldron which is circular with a flared rim, waisted neck and bulbous body with a slightly flattened base. Three, equally spaced, circular sectioned tapering legs project from the base of the vessel, and turn out at the feet. The vessel has two rounded handles, diametrically opposed, and attached to the rim and shoulder. Height 18.8mm; width 18.7mm and weight 7.72g.
Compare YORYM-6AF87C which notes that :"Similar examples have been recorded on the PAS database including YORYM-7C6E57, SWYOR-A69E3B, LVPL-FDC6C7 and WMID-E6F6E4. A comparable example is also illustrated in Forsyth & Egan (2005), p.111, no.2.6 which is described as Type 1, Design 2 dating to the 15th - 16th century."
