An incomplete Post Medieval silver half groat of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603). Third issue (North 2016) dating to AD 1583-1603. Initial mark illegible. London mint. North (1991: 137). Coin is chipped at 4 o'clock on the obverse and has been folded across the upper quarter also on the obverse.
Overall dimensions: 17.28mm in length, 13.36mm in width, 2.28mm in thickness and 0.82g in weight.
