Medieval Cast belt mount with two separate rivets (one with round rove). One end with deep radial grooves lies next to a pair of round apertures. The front is decorated with transverse mouldings and there are two opposed rounded cut-outs near the other, straight end. Perhaps anthropomorphic, and intended to represent a crowned bust. Main part of the reverse is concave. 14th century.
