Incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy hooked tag of Read Class H, Type 1. Sub-circular plate with a moulded flower in relief, set within a raised border. The hook is missing and only two short stubs of the attachment loop survive. The breaks are not recent. It is similar to Read (2008) No. 491, except that the lateral edges of the plate are straighter in the lower half while having slightly more pronounced convexity in the upper half. 16th century.
