A complete silver Threepence of Post Medieval date - second issue of the reign of Elizabeth I (AD1558-1603).  Dated 1573.  North (1991) page 135 No. 1998

Obverse shows crowned bust left with rose behind. 

Reverse has square shield on long cross fourchee dividing legend with date 1573 above. 

Possibly slightly clipped, probable acorn mint initial mark.  Minted in London.
