Carl Savage comments on record GLO-FD32E3 that: 

The mint names were not listed on Scottish coins between 1280-1357/8 and current research suggests that the number of points on the reverese indicate the mint. In this case the four six-pointed mullets gives a total of 24 points, possible indicating the Berwick mint.
