Base shard of pottery, thought to possibly be from a ham green jug. The exterior of the sherd has a green patina with brown flecks. The interior has a grey and red patina with some remnants of a green glaze, which is present on the outside. It has a thick base and walls, with a flat undecorated bottom. The shard weighs 27.1g and has a height of 25.45mm and a width of 49.90mm, it has a thickness of 8.14mm. Thought to date to the Medieval period. Interestingly, this shard has an intact lead pot mend on its interior base. There is a nail print visible in the lead where it has been pressed in.
