Standing figure round copper alloy coin weight of the franc a pied of Charles V of France (1364 - 1380) or Charles VII (1403 - 1461). The weight is a full standing figure with the king facing front holding a sceptre. The image on the weight is very worn and it is difficult to make out the legend. Each of the coins (the franc a pied and royal d'or) both weighed 3.82g and this weight is almost exact. (see. Whithers and Whithers 2011: 28)
