Copper alloy strap end that is rectangular shape with slightly convex sides and a pointed forward edge. The forward edge of the strap end would have had a crude animal facemask that had two multifaceted panels for the eyes and eyebrow and two circular panels behind forming that ears. However, this area is heavily corroded resulting in the loss of most of the detail.
The design on the main plate consists of a recessed rectangular panel that has a transverse beast in the centre. Unfortunately, the head and main body of the beast have been removed by corrosion but the fore and hind legs still remain.
The terminal is slotted for the strap although the edges are truncated as a result of corrosion, which has also removed any design from this area.
