A copper alloy illegible coin. It seems most like a Roman AE2 nummus, but is illegible and too worn to identify.

It could also date to the Post Medieval period, about 1597-1663: possibly a Scottish twopence, or 'turner' or 'bodle' of James VI (1567-1625), Charles I (1625-1649), or Charles II (1649-1685).  Alternative identifications include a token or jetton dating to the Post Medieval period. It has a length of 20.7mm, a width of 18.84mm, a thickness of 0.91mm, and weighs 1.12g.
