An incomplete copper alloy Tournai Jetton of Medieval dating (AD 1497 to AD 1521).
The obverse depicts three circles each containing a quatrefoil and the reverse depicts a broad cross pattee with a flower in each angle. The jetton probably has an abbreviated legend of the phrase 'Sit Nomen Domini (benedictum)', now worn and mostly illegible.
It has a diameter of 25.4 mm and is 1.3 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g.
The jetton is a dark green colour with an even surface patina.
Mitchiner (1988) illustrates similar on p242 (nos 747-748). These jettons are dated to c. AD 1497-1521. Two similar jettons have been recorded on the PAS as WAW-C0BF8F and BERK-CF1E15.
