An Iron Age cast copper-alloy potin of the Kent Region / Cantiaci, dating to the early 1st century BC. A degraded primary series / "Thurrock" type or transitional form to the Flat Linear series. Obverse: degraded and highly stylised head of Apollo left, in the form of a curled line "head" over a vertical bar. Reverse: Butting bull right.
