A complete silver medieval coin. Short Cross penny of Henry III, dating c. 1222-1236. Cross pattee initial cross.  Minted by Ivn of Canterbury. 

Obverse description: Crowned bust facing holding sceptre
Obverse inscription: hENRICVS.RE[X]
Reverse description: Short cross with three pellets in each angle
Reverse inscription: IVN ON CANTE

Coin measures: 17.78 mm in diameter, 0.81 mm in thickness, and 1.33g in weight.
