A cast copper alloy early Medieval hooked tag, with an intricately moulded decorative plate with three pierced attachment holes. The plate is moulded with zoomorphic interlace, with a curved body, sinuous intertwined limbs and a head between the two attachment holes to the rear of the plate. The hook is moulded into a degraded beast head, with eyes and snout. The tip is missing.
