A post Medieval die carved from bone or antler, with slightly trapezoidal faces around 5mm across and drilled spots of a little over 1mm in diameter. Circa 16th-17th century, most probably of Elizabethan or Jacobean date.
Notes:
This die is regular (ie, the opposing faces add up to 7) which suggests it post dates 1550 when the majority of dice were made in this pattern (Egan, 1997).
