Incomplete probable medieval strap-end made from two pieces of copper-alloy sheet riveted together. It is broadly a slender rectangle, with straight sides that taper mildly from the break at the top to the terminal at the bottom. There is a rust-stained iron rivet in-situ at the terminal and an incomplete and vacant rivet hole at the break. No decoration is visible on either face. Probably late 13th to 14th century.
