A complete cast copper alloy Roman strap-mounted terret ring of skirted type. The ring is circular, around 55mm in external diameter and 28mm in width, with a flattened lenticular cross section. This sits over a flat skirt of oval shape around 50mm in length. The lower loop is square and around 30mm in length. Circa 1st to 3rd century AD.
