An incomplete early Medieval disc brooch with a plain rim. The brooch has a moulded flower / star design with five convex tear drops surrounding a domed central boss, all set within a simple linear border. A fragment of a catchplate is retained on the reverse. Around a third of the brooch disc, including the hinge lug and pin, has been lost.
