A worn and incomplete post-Medieval silver penny probably of Edward VI (AD 1547-1553), dating to the period 1550-1553. London mint. North (1991: 124) No. 1945. The coin is very worn and most of its circumference to chips only the edge between 8 and 10 o'clock on the reverse survives.
