An incomplete cast copper alloy spur dating from the medieval to post-medieval period, c. AD 1450-1600. The item comprises the broken terminal end of one spur arm. The arm is oval in cross-section with two loops in a figure of eight arrangement at the terminal which is joined to one side of the loop section. The arm bends slightly inwards from roughly halfway from the loops towards the break in the arm. The item is a dark green colour.
