An incomplete cast copper alloy spur dating from the post-medieval period, c. AD 1500-1700. The item comprises the broken terminal end of one spur arm. The arm is oval in cross-section with two loops in a figure of eight arrangement at the terminal which is joined to one of the two loops. There are incised lines on either side of one of the holes of the loop. The item has a dark brown patina and evidence of green corrosion on the loop section.
