A side scraper of probable early Neolithic date, 4000 - 2350 BC. The flake is partly translucent, dark grey in colour and sub-rectangular in shape. The dorsal face has a whitish patina and has two parallel flakes removed. The ventral surface is smooth with a prominent bulb of percussion with lines of percussion emanating from it.
There is reworking to the upper left mesal, where a narrow flake has been removed, and there is short, semi-abrupt, parallel retouch to the lower right mesal.
Suggested date: early Neolithic, 4000 - 2350 BC.
