Vincent joined the British Museum's team in June 2014 as a Project Curator for Romano-British coin finds. He is dealing both with Roman coin hoards and single finds.

He specialised in Roman coin finds through his experience as a research associate at the Coin Cabinet of the Bibliothèque nationale de France (2003-2012) and as a postdoctorate at the National Center for Scientific Research in Lyon (2012-2014). He also collaborated with many French archaeological units. He published papers on important 3rd-4th Centuries AD hoards as well as on site finds.

Vincent is also interested in the historical significance of Roman coins. He defended his PhD in History on the Coinage of Maxentius (306-312 AD) at University Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2011. This work was published by the Swiss Numismatic Society in 2013.

Besides, Vincent worked as a secretary of the French Numismatic Society until 2014. He currently is one of the editors of the Revue Numismatique.
