Currently on maternity leave

Liz has worked for the Portable Antiquities Scheme since 2003, as the FLO for Sussex and is now the FLO for North & East Yorkshire. During this time Liz has become very interested in medieval seal matrices, leading to research being done to track down the actual people who owned the matrices in some cases. Liz's favourite period is the Iron Age. Before becoming an FLO Liz lived and worked in the East Midlands and dug in Norfolk on a large Anglo-Saxon cemetery and Iron Age settlement site, before joining the digging circuit.
