~~Do you have a love for archaeological finds, and proven experience of identifying and researching them? Do you understand the importance of sharing archaeological knowledge with the wider community, and have proven experience of doing so? If so, this job may be for you.

The Finds Liaison Officer will deliver the Portable Antiquities Scheme in Northamptonshire, and will be based at the Records Office, Wootton Hall Park, Northampton. The post is part of the enthusiastic and popular Archives and Heritage Service. The post is funded through a grant from the British Museum, with local support. The duration of the contract being offered is until 31 March 2017, but may be extended thereafter.

As well as proven archaeological experience, it is essential that the post holder is organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
