Rydym yn chwilio am berson profiadol a chyfathrebwr hyderus i fod yn Swyddog Project ar gyfer Saving Treasures; Telling Stories. Cafodd y swydd hon ei chreu gydag arian grant gan Gronfa Dreftadaeth y Loteri (rhaglen Collecting Cultures). Bydd deiliad y swydd yn datblygu ac yn darparu llif diddorol o gynnwys ar wefan y Cynllun Henebion Cludadwy yng Nghymru (PAS Cymru), gweithio gyda staff yr Amgueddfa a chynhyrchwyr cynnwys allanol. Yn ogystal, bydd deiliad y swydd yn hyrwyddwr i’r project ac yn trefnu gweithdai hyfforddi ac yn darparu dulliau gwerthuso.

Saving Treasures; Telling Stories Project

Grade E £15,556 - £19,754 (based on FTE £25,926 - £32,923)

22.2 hours (0.6 post)

Fixed-Term 42 months (3.5 years)

We are looking for an experienced practitioner and a confident communicator to fill the post of Project Officer for the Saving Treasures; Telling Stories Project. This post is created with grant funding provided by the Heritage Lottery Fund (Collecting Cultures programme). This five year partnership project involves collecting and engaging with the portable archaeological heritage of Wales.

Based at the National Museum Cardiff, the Project Officer will co-ordinate and support a programme of six Community Archaeology Projects, involving local museums and a range of communities across Wales. The post-holder will develop and deliver a flow of engaging Portable Antiquities Scheme in Wales (PAS Cymru) website content, working with museum professionals and external content generators. In addition, they will be a project advocate, organise training workshops and deliver evaluation methods.

You will need proven experience of engaging groups and communities with their heritage, combined with experience of delivering project outcomes to agreed deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work and travel independently to venues across Wales will be needed. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
