A very fine heavily gilded double looped buckle square apertures with rounded expanded outer edges which are decorated with raised mouldings of lions heads. The strap bar is circular in section, and recessed from the obverse face of the frame.

The object is a cast lead alloy dolphin-like animal. The animal is shaped in an 'S'-shape in plan, with the head at one end and the tail at the other. The reverse is undecorated. On the upper edge above the head and tail damage has occurred which may have been mounting points originally.
