Fragment of small-long brooch. Head and bow missing, much of footplate obscured by corrosion, transverse moulding visible above spatulate terminal. Catch-plate on reverse contains corroded remains of iron pin. The breaks are ancient. Dates tot he late 5th-early 6th century.
