The strap end is a pointed oval in shape with a zoomorphic terminal at the closed end and a slightly concaved open terminal at the attachment end. The strap end is cast in one piece but the attachment end is split into an upper and lower plate to allow the strap material to be fitted. Two rivets for attachment are present at the open end of the plate between which is an inverted fan shaped field with internal foliate design. The zoomorphic terminal is in the form of a forward facing animal head with prominent rounded eyes and snub snout. Wavering lines above the eyes may represent ears. The resultant sub-rectangular field between these two decorative elements is extremely worn and any decoration is now indeterminable. The decorative field is set within a border of sub-rectangular raised cells. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a dark brownish-green patina and is in fair condition. The hoop of the ring is incomplete with roughly half of its diameter having been lost to old and worn breaks leaving wide shoulders to either side of the bezel which taper towards the breaks. The bezel itself is oval in plan and is raised prominently from the hoop. It is separated in to four quarters each of which is recessed and infilled with enamel. Two of the recesses bear traces of red enamel and the other two hold yellow enamel. A central recessed circular depression is also present and appears to have also been infilled with red enamel. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The finger ring is 15.1mm long, 10.8mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 3.8g. An incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring of Roman date. The strap end is a composite piece which is sub-rectangular in plan, tapering towards a closed curved terminal. No forked spacer can be seen within the outer sheets of metal due to organic material compacted within the space. There is a single rivet present at the open end and one in the centre of the curved end both of which can be seen on both sides of the strap end. The object is undecorated. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is slightly worn. The strap end is 30.7mm long, 11.7mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 4.1g. Similar examples can be seen in Egan & Pritchard, p.142, fig.93. The buckle is a trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with drilled frame for a separate spindle. The spindle no longer remains. The outer edges of the frame have moulded pin recesses flanked by two lobed knops. The sides are bifid with moulded bifid knops around the spindle holes. The metal has a light reddish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 34.9mm long, 24.8mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 4.5g.
