The Portable Antiquities Scheme is offering a short term contract for a period of three weeks in September to assist the North East's Finds Liaison Officer with the recording of a large assemblage discovered by divers in County Durham.

The responsibilities include:
  1. recording and photography/scanning of artefacts
  2. entering data onto the Portable Antiquities Scheme database
  3. repackaging of finds in conservation grade materials.
