{"vacs":[{"id":"54","title":"Finds Liaison Officer","regionID":"26","specification":"<p>Finds Liaison Officer 37 hours per week <br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\nWe are currently looking for two knowledgeable, enthusiastic and flexible people to fulfil the varied responsibilities of two important roles which form the Portable Antiquities Scheme representation in North and East Yorkshire.\u00a0<br \/><br \/>\nAs Finds Liaison Officer it is essential that you have knowledge of working with and being able to identify a broad spectrum of archaeological objects. You will use this knowledge and experience to deliver and encourage access to the Portable Antiquities Scheme, and archaeology in general, for the object\u2019s finders. You must have experience of working with metal detectorists, managing volunteers and working with the public. You will be expected to work flexibly and it is essential that you possess a full clean driving licence. <br \/><br \/>\nAs Finds Liaison Assistant you will support the Finds Liaison Officer and also have knowledge of working with and being able to identify a broad spectrum of archaeological objects. You will take the lead role in Portable Antiquities scheme\u2019s response to metal detecting rallies in North Yorkshire.
