A near complete, cast, lead 'vesica' (pointed oval) shaped, personal seal matrix, c.AD 1200-1300
The seal matrix is a pointed oval in plan (oval with pointed ends) and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The design on the front face of the matrix consists of a central motif with an inscription reading anti-clockwise (clockwise in the impression) around the edge. A complete but bent lead alloy trefoil object of uncertain purpose but probably badge or mount dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period.
The object is flat in cross section and molded into a trefoil form, each leafs itself being a fleur de lis shape. This has moulded decoration on its upper surface creating a raised border and stamens to each leaf. The reverse is flat and plain. The object is a grey off white colour.
The object is 11.5mm long, 10.6 mm wide, 1.4mm thick and weighs 0.81 grams.

An incomplete post Medieval lead-tin alloy cast discoidal button. The edge is chipped and the looped shank is missing to an old break.
The surviving piece is broadly circular in plan and slightly domed in cross section with a convex front and flat reverse. The front has a raised design depicting a six petalled (pointed oval leaves) flower with a line of three pellets between each leaf. This is surrounded by a raised border. An incomplete copper alloy nut cracker of Post Medieval (Late 18th Century) date.
The hinge remains in place, with some trace of the adjoining part still attached in the socket. The upper part of the nutcracker is made up of a flat solid plate which is sub semi-circular in section, with three flat areas decorated with foliate like decoration. The inside surface has four lines of triangular nicks designed to hold the nut in place. A near-complete cast copper alloy brooch of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date, Hull and Hawkes Group K (c.100 BC-AD 50). The brooch is comprised of the wings, bow, foot and catch plate, missing the pin (total length 48.0mm). The ‘wings’ are cylindrical with transverse mouldings imitating a spring mechanism and terminate in flat circular moulded end caps (wing span 30.3mm, diameter of end caps 6.6mm.
