A Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle dating c. AD 1200-1400. The buckle comprises the looped frame and broken plate. The loop is D-shape with a thickened bevelled outer edge and narrowed pin bar. Attached to the pin bar is a flat rectangular plate made from a single piece of copper-alloy folded at one end in two folds to make two parallel plates. One of the folds is broken so that the looped frame isn't secure. At the open end of the plate are two circular-sectioned iron rivets, one in each corner. A damaged and incomplete early medieval penny of Coenwulf of Mercia (AD 796-821), portrait type (North 367; Naismith 12.1), moneyer: Wihtræd, mint: East Anglia (Ipswich?). Ref: North 1994: p.95; Naismith 2011: pl. 29, esp. E12.1c).
The coin is incomplete, damage to the flan removing part of the outer circle resulting in a partial reading of the inscription.

A complete cast copper-alloy vessel leg from a small decorative household object, probably a clock of Post Medieval to Modern date (c. AD 1750-1900). The leg consists of a four-toed foot with prominent toe-joints and metatarsals that extend into a narrowed ankle and a rounded terminal. The base and back of the foot is flat. A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy weight, dating from c. 1500 AD to 1800 AD.
The coin weight is disk shaped with two flat faces. One face has been stamped X X at the centre. Above this is a stamped letter D. Below the initials is another unclear oval shaped stamp. On the other face X X is again stamped, due to corrosion it is not clear if the other stamps are also repeated. The weight is dark grey-brown in colour with small areas of green corrosion. Some of the original surface is lost to corrosion.

A complete cast copper-alloy bolster from a scale tang knife of medieval to post-medieval date (c.1200-1600).
Description: The object is rectangular in plan, with a hexagonal cross section. The short sides each have a notch removed from the top. The top of the end cap is open and the base has a sub rectangular central hole (10.3 mm by 4.7 mm). No decoration is present on any side. These slots are for the tang of the knife to be secured in. A complete knapped gun-flint from a flintlock musket of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1900. The gun-flint is formed from a tertiary flake of translucent mid-grey flint. It is rectangular in both shape and cross-section though the section is irregular and tapers from one end to the other.

The head of the pin is globular with no decoration evident. The top of the head is slightly flattened and a circumferential collar is present below the head. A circular-sectioned shaft extends from the collar, terminating in a worn break.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The pin is 32.23mm long, 6.87mm in diameter at the head, 2.12mm in diameter at the shaft, and weighs 1.74g.
