A complete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cruciform brooch detachable side knob. It is half round, with a slot and hole for pin on the base. It is semi-oval in cross section. It has a lozenge shaped dome, tapering into a waist before terminating in the base. Due to its half round shape, it conforms to Cruciform Brooch Phase B, dating to 475-550AD (Martin, 2015, pg 128).

An incomplete Early Medieval copper-alloy pin of Ross type LXIX (Ross 1991, 288), inverted pear or hot air balloon type, dating to circa AD 600-900. Only the head, collar and small segment of the upper shaft now survive. The shank is circular-sectioned.

A fragment of an Early Medieval copper-alloy cruciform brooch dating to circa AD 475-550. The extant piece consists of a side knop which would have been attached to the headplate of the brooch.. It is dumbbell shaped in plan and plano-convex in section, with a flat reverse. The front face consists of two lobes joined by a constricted mid-setion. Each lobe is decorated with three incised transverse grooves. At the efge of one of the lobes is a shall median rectangular groove which would have facilitated attachment to the brooch. It is composed of a narrowed upper terminal which expands towards an expanded flat lower edge with two outer projections. An incomplete cast copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) small long brooch dating to c.AD 450-550. Penn and Brugmann (2007) Sm2 or Sm3.
Only the headplate and part of the bow has survived. The headplate comprises a trefoil head with three projecting sub-rectangular lobes with semi-circular cut aways at each angle. The bow springs from the headplate; it has a D cross-section and is decorated on the convex side with oblique indentations where the bow meets the headplate, creating a trapezoidal block at the upper portion of the bow. An incomplete cast copper-alloy disc brooch of Early-Medieval date. It is missing a small part of the plate and pin due to old breaks. The brooch has a flat circular plate with openwork and moulded decoration, although corroded. This comprises a central cross-shaped motif with central lozenge shaped panel and circular perforations in each quadrant. At the centre of the lozenge is a slightly raised conical boss. A complete probable miscast and/or unfinished copper-alloy catch piece sleeve clasp of C6th date. Consisting of a rectangular bar with a rectangular catch element projecting from the centre of othe front edge. The object appears to have been made in a two-piece mould, and there are casting flashes of metal surviving which in a finished object would have been filed away. No decoration can be seen and there is not evidence of lugs.

A complete lead discoidal spindle whorl of Early Medieval to Medieval date (AD 700-1100).
The spindle whorl is circular in plan and has a sub-rectangular cross section. It fits into the Walton Rogers classification form B. The central hole is circular with an internal diameter of 9.5mm. No decoration is present on either side.
The whorl is cream in colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
