A complete copper-alloy seal matrix of Medieval date. It is a hexagonally faceted conical seal matrix with a flat lozenge suspension loop which contains iron corrosion. The legend appears to be non-personalised but is illegible suggesting a C14th date.

A circular lead disc, possibly a box lid dating to the period c. AD 1300-1400. The disc is decorated on one side only with a shield bearing three lions passant guardant facing right (the arms of England) with a palm branch along each side of the shield and an illegible inscription or decoration around. The reverse is plain and undecorated. On one side of the disc, at the lower point of the shield, are two flattened loops, probably hinge lugs.

A complete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cruciform brooch detachable side knob. It is half round, with a slot and hole for pin on the base. It is semi-oval in cross section. It has a lozenge shaped dome, tapering into a waist before terminating in the base. Due to its half round shape, it conforms to Cruciform Brooch Phase B, dating to 475-550AD (Martin, 2015, pg 128).

A replica of Cnut of Northumbria (c. 900 - 905). This coin was found in an area of known Viking Age re-enactments and was examined by the FLO and Dr John Naylor, and was found to be a modern reproduction on the following grounds,
Although the coin has inscriptions and obverse/reverse designs which are faithful to the originals, there are problems when you examine the coin closely:
the combination of obverse (EC-1ii) and reverse (CR-G) type seen on this coin isn't seen in the Cuerdale hoard (which is a large sample)
the letter forms are quite scruffy…

Very worn, circular and flat. One face depicts the initials R G in one line. The reverse is uncertain, possibly a tankard.

A Post Medieval Belgian, Antwerp issued copper-alloy square 3.3g coinweight for a half-ryal coin dating to c.1579-1603.
Square and flat. One face depicts a stylised ship with a rose in the bottom centre and the letter R to top right. (Withers 2011 : 25) The reverse depicts the hand of Antwerp with the letters L / M either side (unknown makers initials) all within a wreath. The weight is quite corroded, displaying a mainly brown colour with patches of green patina.
Sub-square 14.8mm x 14.1mm, thickness 2.3mm, weight 3.3g.

A corroded and incomplete cast copper alloy medieval enamelled heraldic stud or mount, probably from horse harness. The plate displays arms quarterly, with a cross fleury on a red enamel (gules) field in two quarters and an illegible device on a blue enamel field (azure) in the other two. No traces of gilding or tinning are evident so the colour of the metals in the blazon are unclear. All of the margins of the plate have suffered considerable loss and the original shape is unclear. The reverse is undecorated and has a single shank around 10mm in length.

A complete copper-alloy single loop buckle with the pin in situ , although the pin is incomplete, of probable Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is triangular in shape, with a semi-circular cross section in the frame. The reverse is plain, however, there is evidence of white metal coating and incised groves. At the point of the triangle, there is a pin rest notch, on the inside of the frame. The object has a brown / green patina. No published parallels have been identified for this example, however a similar example can be found on PAS (LVPL-24E6C4).

A complete cast copper alloy seal matrix of post Medieval date. The handle is waisted, with a conical base and expands into an openwork trefoil terminal comprised of four loops, with a larger suspension loop over a transverse row of three, the central having a solid centre. The dieface is oval, 14mm in length and appears to be blank or is too corroded to retain any trace of an original design. The handle has been bent.
