A silver unit of the East Anglian area, Antedios Antd D-Bar type, dating to c. AD 10-30 (Reece Period 1). See Hobbs 1996, British Iron Age Coins In The British Museum. p.201-205, no.3800-4031; ABC, p. 87, no. 1645. Reverse shows horse right, three pellets in triangle on shoulder, curved line or 's' below neck, pellet ring above rump, leaf 'e' above back. Three pellets in triangle below body. Inscribed 'ANTED' seen as 'ATD'. Obverse shows two opposed crescents and two pellets in hexagon crossed by five alternating pellet/plain lines.
